About Us:
Lipoedema UK is a UK charity formed in 2012 by patients and St Georges Hospital London. Our patient surveys and focus groups offer insights into the consequences of a lack of diagnosis and treatments for lipoedema and the dire need for investment in research along with appropriate funding for treatments.
Our Purpose and Aims:
Lipoedema UK supports patients, their families and all healthcare workers associated with lipoedema. Our aims are to increase awareness of the symptoms, improve access to early diagnosis and treatments and to eliminate this debilitating chronic condition for future generations.
Benefits to People Living with Lymphoedema:
Many lipoedema patients develop lypo-lymphoedema, early diagnosis and treatment for lipoedema can prevent lymphoedema.

Membership of Lipoedema UK is £25 p.a. Our members receive an information pack with leaflets and information for their GP, regular email newsletters, information on research projects and the latest news on lipoedema along with online presentations on a wide range of lipoedema associated topics including regular Nurse and Clinical Advisor Q &A sessions.
