Mark’s interest in lymphoedema started with a breast cancer patient at a local hospice, combining working in end-of-life care and lymphoedema, which still remain a passion today.
Paediatric and transition patients present a welcome challenge to the workload and one that never fails to enrich Mark’s development as a therapist.
Surgical intervention for lymphoedema and lipoedema have exposed a different clinical skill set with a unique approach.

- Trained as an MLD therapist in 1999 and qualified with the Vodder School
- Worked in a local hospice for several years working with end of life (children and adults)
- Started at St George’s in 2009 as MLD Therapist and progressed to current role working alongside consultant-led clinics and leading the MLD Therapists
