Along with her full time NHS role, Rebecca is a proud Trustee of the British Lymphology Society and member of the BLS Children with Lymphoedema Special Interest group and the BLS Scientific Committee. She is also the annual BLS conference organiser.
She is a regular presenter in both national and international conferences and is on the editorial board for the Journal of Lymphoedema and the British Journal of Community Nursing’s Chronic Oedema supplement.
Rebecca’s passion for service development and innovation has led to her setting up the UKs first Red Leg clinic and helping to guide the provision of tools to support clinical practice nationally with the BLS Red Legs Pathway and the BLS’ first position paper for Assessing vascular status in the presence of chronic oedema prior to the application of compression hosiery.
She represents the BLS as part of the lower limb stream of the National Wound Care Strategy and Legs Matter.
